The movement was founded in the year 1925 by Moses Orimolade Tunolase. They are also known as the ESOCS, which is interpreted as the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church.
Who Is Moses Orimolade Tunolase
Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase (as he is better known) is the founder of the The Cherubim and Seraphim church, also known as C&S. From his history, he was left in the custody of an Anglican Church clergyman when he was born and later broke out to form his own denomination after claiming that he cured a girl, Christina Abiodun Akinsowon who was suffering from a long term where she could neither hear nor speak.Moses was born into the royal family of Ayibiri, Ondo State of Nigeria, in the year 1879 and could neither speak nor walk after birth.
His parents had taken him to the Anglican church and that was what later became his church. He had dreadlocks and maybe that explains why most of his members have too.
In his memory, you can see the Moses Orimolade University, Omu-aran.
He died on the 19th October, 1933, in Lagos, Nigeria.

- Shoes are not allowed in the house, an act limited to Judaism.
