Born on the 17th of April, 1992, Shkodran Mustafi began his football career in the youths ranks of Hamburger SV, and the English football club, Everton. He made a one-year substitute appearance before eventually leaving to Sampdoria, January 2012.
Mutsafi later signed a five-year deal in August 2014 at Valencia and then he moved to Arsenal for a reported £35 million 2016.
Shkodran Mustafi was born in Bad Hersfeld, Hesse to an Albanian family. They were originally from Gostivar, Macedonia and he had begun his career in the youth system of the local FC Bebra, before joining theHamburger SV's youth setup in the year 2006.
He made his full international debut against Poland on the 13th of May, 2014 and was among the team that won the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup.
May 2009, he joined the Everton, though initially assigned to their Academy team. He later turned down offers from the Newcastle United and the Manchester City, stating that 'Goodison Park feels like home'.
He eventually joined the Arsenal football club on the 30th of August, 2016, for an undisclosed fee though reportedly in excess of £35 million.
He made his debut in Arsenal's Premier League 2-1 win over the Southampton at the Emirates Stadium on the 30th of September, and was able to beat Bacary Sagna's record unbeaten start of 17 games at the club in Arsenal's 3–3 draw against Bournemouth with his 18th game without defeat.
Mustafi however missed Arsenal's 2-1 win over the Chelsea FC in the 2017 FA Cup Final on the 27th of May, and on the 18th of November, scored a disputed goal in a 2-0 win against Totenham Hotspur in North London derby.
