Tundu Lissu was born on the 20th of January, 1968 in Mahambe village in Ikungi District Tanzania. After completing his elementary education at Mahambe Primary School (1976 - 1982), he enrolled at the Galanos Secondary School for his ACSEE (1987 - 1989). He also obtained his CSEE from Ilboru Secondary School (1983 - 1986).Lissu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Dar Es Salaam and a Masters Degree from the University of Warwick, UK.
