Fakoya Qudus Oluwadamilare (Qdot) Biography, Early Life and Educational Background

Qdot was born on the 30th of April, 1989 in Ikorodu, Lagos State in Nigeria. He was born in a complicated family where he is the first of his father and the second of his mum.

Qdot had his primary education in Ikorodu, Lagos State. After obtaining his First School Leaving Certificate, he enrolled at the United Senior High School for his secondary education. He further secured admission into the prestigious Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos State, where he obtained a National Diploma in General Arts.

Entertainment Career

Qdot is a versatile singer with the musical genre of Hip hop, Afro-beat and Pure Afro Performer. He has no doubt, been able to carve out a niche with his music style which is a blend of Afrocentric and African songs.

He began his musical career in 2010 and has so far, recorded huge success in the Nigerian entertainment industry. He has worked with top producers, including Citi Boi, Antras, Dtunes and Indomix.

His first song 'Story Of My Life' made waves when it was released and also received a great  acknowledgment from the public, becoming Radio Continental's theme song. The song that whoever brought him to limelight was his 2013 song, 'Alomo Meta'.

In 2014, he released another single titled 'Orijin'. It also received massive positive reviews from music lovers in Nigeria and beyond. 'Orijin' was followed by  'Ibeere (Question)' which he released in 2015.

In 2015, he also dropped a freestyle, 'Weray Wa Nle', followed by a song titled 'Alhaji'. The same year, award-winning Fuji musician, Pasuma featured Qdot on his 'My World' album.

In November 2016, he released a song titled 'La La Lu' featuring YBNL/YAGI artist Lil Kesh. The video was directed by HG2 in Lagos and garnered more than 1 millions views on YouTube.

Early 2016 and 2017 respectively he headlined a concert tagged 'Qdot and Friends'. The show which was organized by Billy Q Ent was held in Ikorodu and Ikeja.The likes of Terry G, Jhybo, 9ice, Small Doctor, Jaywon and Pasuma were present at the concert. In June 2016, he released a single titled 'Turn Up'.

In November 2020, Qdot unveiled his much awaited studio album tagged; 'Alagbe'. The album contains 17 tracks with features from T-Classic, 9ice, Alh. Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Zlatan, Patoranking, Jaywon, Niniola, Xsmile and Pepenazi.

Qdot is currently signed under his own entertainment outfit YoruBadBoiMusic.
