Yaa Jackson was born on the 18th of October, 1999 to the family of Mr Jackson K Bentum and Mrs Lydia Konadu Bentum in Kumasi, Ghana. Her father is a popular movie director and producer, popular in the Kumawood movie industry. She is the only daughter and second born of three children.

After completing her primary education in Kumasi, Yaa enrolled at the Salem Educational Complex for her Junior High School. She further proceeded to the prestigious Presbyterian Girls Senior High School, Kumasi for her Senior High School Education, finishing in 2019. She offered General Arts in Senior High School.

Entertainment Career

Yaa Jackson began her career as an actress at a very early age. She was barely 2 years old when she debuted in the 'Okukuseku' movie with star actors like the late Santo, and Agya Ntow.

When she was around 9 years old, she starred in her second movie, 'Me Wuo Akyi (After My Death)'. The movie was directed by her father, Mr Jackson K Bentum.

She has so far, featured in numerous movies with other Kumawood actors like Vivian Jill, Bill Asamoah, Kwaku Manu, Maame Serwaa, Benedicta Gafah, Lilwin and Emelia Brobbey.
