Moses Ssali was born not the 1st of September, 1977 in Kampala, the capital of Uganda. he had his primary education at Aga Khan Primary School, in Kampala, Kitante Hill School before proceeding to Kitante Hill School.Bebe Cool further proceeded to the prestigious Makerere College School, where he attended school studies but dropped out of school one year prior to completion. At high school, he studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics (PCB/M).
Entertainment Career
Bebe Cool started his music career right from high school when he was acting as an entertainment prefect. Upon leaving school, he started pursuing his career passionately and over the years, he started reaping the fruits.Two of Bebe Cool's popular singles are 'Mambo Mingi' and 'Fitina'. He has released two (solo) studio albums, 'Senta' and 'Maisha'. He has also collaborated with Halima Namakula, a Ugandan veteran woman musician, on their crossover track 'Sambagala'.
Bebe Cool, together with Kenyan duo Necessary Noize formed a reggae group known as the East African Bashment Crew. They have released one album, 'Fire', and two hit singles, 'Fire' 'Africa Unite'. The group was nominated at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2008.
In 2013, Bebe had a music battle with one of Nigeria's top singers, D'banj in a neutral place, Glamis Arena Harare Zimbabwe. The show was organized under the theme 'Battle for Africa'.
