Folake Aremu (popularly known as Orisabunmi) was a veteran Nollywood actress and movie producer. She was very popular in the Yoruba entertainment industry. Orisabunmi's death reportedly came months after the death of her ex-husband, Jimoh Aliu aka Aworo, who died on September 17, 2020.

Folake Aremu was born on the 10th of October, 1960 in Ilu Ola, Kwara State. She had her primary education at Eruku in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.Career
Orisabunmi She joined the Nigerian movie industry after being discovered by her ex-husband, Chief Jimoh Aliu (Aworo) in the 80s while working as a teacher. She was subsequently mentored and within a short period of time, landed her first movie role.
She debuted as an actress in a stage play titled 'Ori Ma Binu'. She, however, came to limelight after starring in 'Arelu', where she played the role 'Orisabunmi'.
She has over the years appeared in several movies and TV series, including Ayanmo Eda'', 'Oluwerimagboojo', 'Yanponyanrin' and ''Agbaarin.
As a producer, she has movies like 'Atupa Imole', 'Tani O' and 'Ase Ilu' to her credit.
She won the Best Actress award from 1986 to 1992.

Folake Aremu was married to Jimoh Aliu (popularly known as Aworo) before they separated after over 36 years of living together.
