In a chat with Showtime, he revealed how his father convinced him to take after his music legacy and the journey so far. The afro-beat singer, who is currently signed to Cash Nation Records came to the limelight after releasing the song, 'Aiye'. 'Aiye' has so far garnered more than 700,000 views on YouTube.

Oluwakayode Junior Balogun was born on the 13th of February, 1993 in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, Nigeria. His father, Ayinde Barrister was also a very popular singer and songwriter, he was in fact, regarded as a pioneer of Fuji and Wéré music.
