Sakaja Johnson is a Kenyan politician who is currently serving as the Senator of Nairobi County. He has been in the seat since 2017, following his election on 8 August 2017 General Election in Kenya. Prior to that, he was the National Chairman of The National Alliance (TNA) until 9 September 2016 when the party merged with 12 others to form the Jubilee Party. He was also a nominated Member of Parliament (National Assembly), in office since 2017.

Sakaja Johnson was born on the 2nd of February, 1985. He is the lastborn in a family of three siblings and lost his mother died when he was just 9 years old. He had his primary education at Aga Khan Nursery and Primary School, after which he joined the Lenana School for his secondary education.Career and Politics
His first dalliance with national politics was in 2005, during the referendum for the then proposed constitution. He used his platform as a SONU leader to rally the youth at the Referendum.
Thereafter, he joined the Kibaki team for the 2007 elections starting off as a driver before eventually becoming the director of the Vijana na Kibaki lobby group. At the election, where he took a lead role in vote tallying support for the Presidential Secretariat.
At the age of 26, he helped form The National Alliance (TNA) of which he became the Chairman. This was the party that the current Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta rode to electoral victory in 2013.
In the August 2017 General Elections, Sakaja was elected as the Senator of Nairobi County, a position he still holds to date.
