Introduction Benjamin Okike is the first Nigerian Professor of Information Encryption, a sub-field of Computer Security. He is currently a Faculty Member of the Department of Computer Science of the University of Abuja Early Life Benjamin Okike was born on 22nd November, 1970 to the family of Mr Okike Onwuasoanya and Mrs Nwannedia Okike. His parents are from Amangwu Arochukwu in present-day Abia State, Nigeria. He parents were both traders. In 1977, Benjamin enrolled Okoffia Community School, Okoffia, Ezza in present day Ebonyi State, but later went to Umunnabuo Community School, Umuchi-Akuma, Ihechiowa in Arochukwu Local Government Area, Abia State to complete his primary education.
