Temmie Ovwasa was born on the 29th of November, 1996 to a Yoruba mother (Osun State) and a Niger Delta father. She grew up in the Middle Belt region, living in both Ilorin in Kwara State and Lokoja in Kwara State.After completing her primary and secondary education, she gained admission to study Medical Anatomy at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), located in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria.
Entertainment Career
Temmie Ovwasa (popularly known as YBNL Princess) discovered her musical talent at a very early age and started singing at the church choir at the age of eight. Her mother was very supportive of her passion and even gifted her a guitar at the age of 8.
In addition to the guitar, Temmie also plays the keyboard and talking drum. She describes her style of music as a blend of afro-pop, soft rock and soul.
Temmie Ovwasa started gaining media attention after she signed a record deal with Olamide's record label, YBNL in 2016, hence she is being referred to as 'YBNL Princess'.
