Born in Bariga, Lagos State, Nigeria on the 15th of March, 1989, Olamide Adedeji better known as, Olamide started his music career at an early time in life.
When asked music, he said, '...I found out I was gifted in it so I had to explore it. It's my life, my hustle, my world...'
In the year 2010, Olamide released his song, 'Eni Duro' under the record label, Coded Tunes into which he was signed then. The song was accepted nationwide and pushed Olamide to national limelight immediately.

Talking about his education, Olamide is a graduate of the Tai Solarin University of Education. He however is fully into music. In the same 2010, he performed at The Hip Hop World Awards and in 2011, released his debut studio album, 'Rapsodi'.
Olamide records mostly in his native tongue, Yoruba and his follow up album, YBNL was released under his label imprint - YBNL Nation.
The album was supported by singles such as 'First of All', 'Voice of the Street', 'Stupid Love' and 'Ilefo Illuminati'.

On the 7th of November, 2013, he released his third studio album, Baddest Guy Ever Liveth and it contains singles like 'Durosoke' and 'Yemi My Lover'.
Multi-award winning artist, Olamide was also the first Nigerian to sign an endorsement deal with top brand, Cîroc.
He has also been nominated and has won several music awards including multiple Nigeria Entertainment Awards and The Headies Awards.
He was signed to ID Cabasa's Coded Tunes record label and was managed by Toni Payne but left the label in 2012 to start his own label, YBNL Nation.
