Paul Ongili Owino Biography and Educational Background
Babu Owino was born on the 10th of October, 1989 in Nyalenda, a Slum area in Kisumu. He had his primary education at Kisumu Township Primary School from 1995 to 2002. Upon completing from Kisumu Township Primary School, he enrolled at the Mangu High School.Owino went ahead to join Mangu High School in 2003. In 2006, he sat for his KCSE exams where he managed to scoop 80 points (which is an 'A'). His score qualified him for a direct entry to a public university (Mbalariany).
He successfully secured admission at Moi University, but due to some reasons, he decided to opt for an alternative. In 2008, he registered for B.Sci(Actuarial Science) at The University of Nairobi, graduating in 2012 with a First Class degree. He was able to excel so well, despite the fact that he was the Chairman of the students union; SONU in the 2011/2012 academic year.
Babu Owino in 2013, secured admission to pursue a Law degree at The University of Nairobi. He graduated with a Second Class Upper Division in LLB Law. he also holds two Master's Degrees.
Political Career
In 2011, Babu Owino was elected as the chairperson of the Student Organisation of Nairobi University (SONU).On 31 August 2017, he was elected as a Member of Parliament for Embakasi East Constituency.
