Ernest Asuzu was born on the 7th of May, 1984 in Imo State, Nigeria. He, however, grew up at Lagos State, where he had his primary and secondary education. He was actively involved in his school's drama group during his secondary school days.Upon obtaining his SSCE certificate, he ventured into full-time acting, joining the Nollywood industry in the late 90s. He rose to limelight after starring in the blockbuster movie, 'Another Campus Queen'.
He went ahead to feature in other top movies, including Kenneth Nnebue's 'Rituals' and 'Labista', a movie that featured top stars like Emma Ehumadu. 'Labista' earned Asuzu the award as the Best Supporting Actor at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.
