Lala Akindoju was born on the 8th of March, 1987 in a family of four children. She's a native of Ondo State but grew up in Lagos where she had her primary and secondary education.After obtaining her First School Leaving Certificate, she enrolled at Queens College, Lagos for her secondary education. She thereafter enrolled at the prestigious University of Lagos (UniLag) for a Bachelor's Degree in Insurance. She also holds a Master's Degree in Media and Communication from Pan-Atlantic University.

Lala Akindoju started acting professionally in 2005 and has featured in over 70 stage and film productions.
Akindoju is a member of the faculty at the Lufodo Academy of Performing Arts (LAPA), where she functions as a facilitator and teaches improvisation drama.
