Sambasa Nzeribe was born on the 14th of February. Though he originally hails, the multi-talented actor and musician was raised in Isolo area of Lagos State Nigeria. He lost his father at a very young age and had to pass through hardships growing up. Her mother was a primary school teacher and her income wasn't enough to feed him (Sambasa ) and his siblings.
In an interview with Guardian.ng, Sambasa Nzeribe revealed that he had to hawk fufu, vegetables and puff-puff in the streets of Isolo to make some money. His mother died of fibroid when he was about rounding off my secondary school education.
Following the death of his mother, the Catholic Women Organisation (CWO) took up the responsibility to train him (and his siblings) via their orphans’ scholarship scheme. They saw him through secondary school until he graduated from the University of Lagos (UnuiLag) where he obtained a degree in Creative Arts.

In addition to teaching in a primary school, Sambasa Nzeribe's mother was also a choir instructor and drama teacher in the church at St. Mary Catholic Church in Isolo. He, on the other hand, was part of the church's music and drama groups, so it helped him develop a love and passion for music and drama.
