Habeeb Uthman is no doubt, one of the most popular figures in the Nigerian entertainment industry. He is the founder/CEO of Obama Music Worldwide (OMW). He is also affiliated with the Davido Music Worldwide family and 30 Billion Gang.
Born in the late 80s to the illustrious family of Uthman, Habeeb had always had a special interest in the entertainment business. He was raised in the commercial city of Lagos, where he also had his primary, secondary and university education, obtaining a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious University of Lagos (UniLag).
Habeeb Uthman started managing upcoming artistes while still in the higher institution. He, in fact, was already organising music shows as an undergraduate.
Upon obtaining his degree, he emigrated to Canada, where he studied artiste management. When he returned back to Nigeria, he co-founded a recorded label called 'Holla At Your Boy' with his friend. Unfortunately for Uthman, his partner died and the label had to fold up.
A few years later, Habeeb Uthman decided to launch another record label and named it Obama Music Worldwide (OMW). Ayanfe is currently signed to the label.
Over the years, Obama DMW has grown to be one of Davido‘s key men and a high ranking member of the 30 Billion Gang. Some other members of the 30 BG gang include; Davido, Sir Banko, Asa Asika, Chairman HKN, King Spesh, Mayorkun, Dremo, Yonda, DJ E-Cool, amongst others.
Personal Life
Not much is known about Obama DMW's personal life as he keeps them away from the public view. He has, however, been rumoured to be in a relationship with award-winning singer Tiwa Savage.
Some popular Nigerian blogs reported that the 'Koroba' was pregnant for the OMW boss while adding that they've been in a relationship for a while. As of the time of writing this article, none of them has come out to either confirm or debunk the reports.
