ITIC To Recruit, Train 11,000 Imo Youths Through The Imo Work And Learn Program (IWALP) The Imo State Technology and Innovation Centre, ITIC has launched a free skill acquisition program focused on empowering Imo youths. It aims at training 11,000 indigent and unemployed Imo youths in skill areas of interest and empowering them with the necessary tools to launch their own startups and secure employment opportunities. The first set of 5,000 IWALP participants would be engaged for training for 12 weeks in various areas of applications which include – Web Development, Business Innovation, Mobile App Development, Cybersecurity and Forensics, Networking and Hardware, and Engineering. Others include; Robotics and Mechatronics, 3D Technology, Drone Technology, Social Media and Digital Marketing and Animation and Multimedia among others.
