Born as Shasha Damilola Alesh, he is better known by his stage name, Dice Ailes presently. He was born on the 17th of March, 1996 in Victoria Island, Lagos State, Nigeria and has a Nigerian-Ghanaian decent, according to our sources. He started unprofessional music as early as age nine but came into the limelight after collaborating with YAGI's Lil Kesh in the viral hit, 'Miracle'. His uncles were singers according to a report, and he loved writing poems from onset. He was also a member of the church choir.

However he first started professional music at the age of fifteen, though he joined the church choir earlier before that. His first song, 'I Can't Wait' was a collaboration with Rado, and Rado was Dice Ailes uncle. He funded the production of the song himself and the next year he was able to air the song on Rhythm 93.7, a top Nigerian music channel. Airing the single got him more connection and he was able to appear on DJ Jimmy Jatt's 'Jimmy's Jump Off', because of the impressive first single.
He scaled to the top of his career in the year 2016, fast-forwarding to that. He was listed on TooXlcusive's 'top ten songs of the month of October, 2016' and the following year, he was also listed among the top 16 fastest rising stars you need to know.

He signed him into their production crew and they both flew back to Nigeria for the production of his music, when they met MI Abaga, the Chocolate City CEO and that landed him the deal. Dice Ailes was signed into the Chocolate City Records in the year 2014.
