Linda Ikeji Biography, Early Life, Family, Education, Businesses

Born on the 19th of September, 1980, Linda Ikeji is a top Nigerian blogger and media personality. She was born and brought up in a Catholic family from Nkwerre, Imo State and is the second child of her family.
Linda started writing at the age of 10 and finished her secondary education at the age of 17. She got admitted into the University of Lagos to study English Language at the age of 18 and in order to support her education and assist her family financially, she worked part-time as a model, waitress and a waitress.

She finished from the university in 2004 and started blogging as a hobby in 2006. The internet wasn't so common then and she always had to make her articles in a cybercafé.
Her blogging career took a better look in 2007 and she was using the sub-domain, lindaikeji.blogspot.com and later had to obtain www.lindaikejisblog.com which she is currently using.
On the 22nd of August, 2016, Linda announced the creation of her online TV network, the Linda Ikeji TV together with a few other brands. The network worked to produce their own TV programmes and at times, bought!

Linda Ikeji also launched an online radio broadcasting channel, and the station is operated from the Linda Ikeji Media Office. She opened a Music Platform, the LindaIkejiMusic on the 21st of November, 2016 but it became dormant barely three months after it was launched.
She moved on to create a social networking platform, the Linda Ikeji Social under the domain name, LindaIkejiSocial.com but it wasn't a grand success. The social media space is already dominated by the likes of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and Nigerians didn't really buy the idea of having to chat on a platform bearing someone's name, like MarkZuckerberg.com... Lol!
She offered incentives to active users but it was like the people were just there for it, and it didn't last long.

Linda runs a non-profit project, 'I'd rather be self made; No thanks' and revealed she'd through the project support younger girls aged 16-25 who have great business ideas and would be willing to venture into entrepreneurship.
She gave out the sum of ₦10 million in the Phase I of the project.
