The Instagram user, @onyii_barbie had no idea they were still in existece until her mother brought them out to dress her granddaughter in.
Sharing photos of both her a year old self and daughter on shoes, she had written,
"Hmmmm na so I dey today as my mum dressed my baby girl for school today guess what I saw my mum wore my Ada(daughter) d same shoe I wore on my first birthday which was in 1985 this woman can keep things for Africa. Luv you mum."The photo has received a lot of reactions, with many not so surprised as she is just a typical African mother.
