The visibly happy people of the state trooped out enmass to welcome their governor who has been attending to some official assignments in Abuja, FCT, for a few weeks now.
While in Abuja, he received an award of the African innovative governor of the year.
He also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with medicus International, Germany, attended the Nigeria Governors’ Forum meeting as well hosted the Southwest Governors’ Forum meeting at the state Lodge, Asokoro Abuja.
The governor also attended the monthly National Economic Council Meeting, met with the new country director of the world bank, received the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and some members of the National Working Committee of the APC.
