Kumuyi Elected As Zenith Labour Party Leader
Hon. Justice Olasehinde Kumuyi, a former Chief Judge of Ondo State has been elected as a leader of the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP.
Hon. Kumuyi served as Chief Justice of Ondo State during Olusegun Mimiko's tenure as Governor. He was elected as the party's leader in the northern senatorial district of Ondo State by delegates at the party’s senatorial district meeting held in Ogbagi-Akoko, Akoko North West local government area of the state.

Kumuyi, who retired from active service in 2017 delved into partisan politics when he pitched tent with Mimiko’s political structure in the state.

Barrister Tunde Atere, one of the delegates in the occasion and a former Commissioner for Natural Resources in Ondo State said, the “meeting reviewed, with satisfaction, activities of the party in northern senatorial district as led by Kumuyi.

He also explained that the former judge was a trusted and dependable leader who has the capacity of leading the party the northern senatorial district

Kumuyi in reaction to the honour said that the party will continue to uphold the principles of social democracy as demonstrated by its national leader, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, during his tenure as governor of Ondo state.

He also asked the party faithful to support and cooperate with him in his new assignment.

Meanwhile, the national chairman of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) recently told President Buhari to reappoint Magu as EFCC Chairman. He said that the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) possessed the capabilities of moving the country forward.
