Lai Mohammed, Agriculture Minister, Nanono Visit Rice Mills In Kano (Photos)

Nigeria's Minister of Information and Culture, Alh. Lai Mohammed; Hon Minister of Agriculture & Rural Development, Muhammad Nanono and Comptroller General(CG), Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (Rtd), represented by the Zonal Coordinator, Zone B, Kaduna Area Command, A.C.G Bashir Abubakar recently visited several rice mills in Kano.
The rice mills include the Umza International’s Rice Mill, Al-Hamsad Rice Mill in Kano and Tiamin Rice.

The purpose of the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture's visit to the Rice mills and Clusters of Cottage Rice Mills in Kano was to assess the impacts of the ongoing Border Drill on the local production of rice

Mohammed Abubakar, the Chairman of Umza International while commenting on the visit revealed that they had to re-open their abandoned factory to meet up with the market demand for rice after the #BorderDrill commenced.
