
Recall that the activist-turned politician was arrested by DSS on August 3, for planning a nationwide protest tagged #RevolutionNow.
According to the report, the activist was released on the evening of Thursday, December 5, after the Federal High Court in Abuja ordered his release for the third time.
Mr. Sowore is expected to appear in court on Friday, December 6, for commencement of his trial.
The news of Sowore's release was made known by an online news medium after a DSS source released an information. It was later confirmed by Marshall Abubakar, one of the lawyers of Sowore.
It was reported that the court also ordered the release of his ally and co-activist, Olawale Bakare.
