
I haven't seen it before, but the people that were taking care of the trees called it 'Ohu', it's Igbo name.


• It looks so much like a bat, and 'floats' on the air. The animal doesn't fly so well and flies from the bottom.
• It's nocturnal, so catching it during the day is very easy. It sees well at night, except you will flash a touch light at it.
• The animal isn't dangerous, but it has some sharp pukes under it's tail for defence purposes.
• One of the ways hunters catch it is by puncturing the wings, since they are almost helpless without it. You can see the hole on this one's wing.
• It is edible, and I don't think there are any religions that don't support it's eating, except maybe vegetarians.
