Beverly Naya was born on the 17th of April, 1989 in London, United Kingdom. She is the only child to her Nigerian parents and had her education in the United Kingdom. Beverly started her acting career at an early age of 17, while studying philosophy, psychology and sociology at Brunel University, London.

Beverly Naya started her acting career in London at an early age of 17 before relocating to Nigeria. In an interview with BellaNaija, she explained that she relocated to Nigeria because of the rapid growth of Nollywood, and the vast opportunities it creates for aspiring actors.

In 2011, Beverly Naya starred alongside OC Ukeje in the AMAA Award nominated hit film Alan Poza, her performance earned her another nomination for BEST ACTRESS IN A LEAD ROLE.
