Kgaogelo Moagi was born on the 31st of January, 1996 in Calais Village, Limpopo, South Africa, where he also grew up. After completing his primary education, he enrolled at the prestigious Calais Secondary School, Maruleng Rural, Limpopo for his secondary education, graduating in 2015.

Master KG started doing music at a very early age. According to an online source, he started playing with beats at the age of 13 on a computer bought for him by his late uncle, who was very supportive of his talent.

Entertainment Career

Master KG has been very passionate about music that he even had to fake sick at a point so he could stay in his bedroom to do what he loved. He further linked up with DJ Maebela, and together they started experimenting with music software and perfecting their art.
That was the reason why when in 2016 he joined the South African music industry, he already had a full arsenal of beat making instruments and skills. He released his first song, 'Situation' the same year.

He further released his debut album 'Skeleton Move' in 2018 after getting a record deal with Open Mic Productions. He has since then collaborated with a number of artists including Makhadzi and Zanda Zakuza.
