A few months later, I backpacked for African destinations to have different taste experiences. For that, I had to take the multiple visas and went to various places famous for their foods. Already had searched about the top famous foods of the places I chose to visit.
Africa is huge, having different cultures and food traditions. Its cuisine is with so many influences mingled in their food. Influenced by cultures around the world, you'll get distinct dishes depending on where in Africa you are. I’ll put all my experiences one by one, various dishes under the place’s lead.

- Marrakech Would Tell You the Right Definition of Taste
Marrakech is known for its souks and delicious cuisines. From its traditional tagine, couscous, Pastilla, Harira soup, to its famous mint tea, you will not forget Morocco from your memories there. I stayed in Marrakech for one day and one night. When I was roaming in the souks of Medina, means the old city in Marrakech, I was able to find a rooftop restaurant and ordered a chicken tagine there. This was amazing to see that the staff was sound in English and very hospitable. The waiter on my table asked me about whether I'm a vegetarian or not.

When I tasted Chicken Tangier, that reminds me of a traditional feel one would experience while traveling to the places like Africa. It is a traditional Moroccan dish of chicken pieces braised with spices, garlic, onion, olives, and preserved lemons.
- Tangier is Famous for the Coastal Foods
Tangier is located on the Mediterranean Sea. After tiring of visiting innards, traveling to the destination like Tangier have a good impression in your life. And when the food served on the holiday spot is delicious, you would have amazing memories of that place. When I arrive there, I felt different because it was a particular comfort in the environs I found. The homemade fish soup was served, I recommend you don’t miss this when on holidays in Tangier. Tagine made up of Spinach had a unique taste totally different from the one made up of chicken. Shark Burger is still in my memories of Tangier, don’t want to miss the most delicious Pastilla in Tangier. I’m inspired by the Moroccan foods as they have something to tell you about how they make and eat the foods.
- South Africa is Unique in the Food
Cape Town is a port city on South Africa’s southwest coast. Do you know the favorite dish of the South Africans on this coast is Braii Boerewors (sausage)? They also like the barbequed lamb chops, sneak fish, etc. South Africa is a collection of various cultures, languages and different dishes. A meld of Dutch and African cultures have a very unique influence in foods cause more delight, dishes include Milktart, koeksisters, Cape Malay. Traditionally butter chicken, Bobotie and different types of Curries made and liked in South Africa's Capetown.- Tunis adds More Spice in Harissa
For me, comparing Tunis with Marrakech is a tougher task because Tunis is also rich in its culture, traditions, and its foods with the mix of different external cultural influences. I found unique tastes here that I did not have tasted back in Asia or in Africa’s other regions. Dishes names are almost the same with little regional changes if we compare it with Marrakech. The Harissa made in Tunis is different, Tunisian harissa is often made with chilis grown around Nabeul and Gabès, so Spice is the element you will find in any of the dishes in Tunis, they enjoy more spices, don’t worry, not everything there is spicy though.Brik, Shakshouka, tajine, and lablabi are some other Tunisian dishes you will taste when in holidays to Tunisia.

- Kenya’s Nayachoma will Impact on You
Visiting Kenya? Must go to taste Ugali, a traditional dish. It is a type of cornmeal porridge made in Kenya. Bbq meat,Nayama choma dna kachumbari are the other ways to change your taste.I loved the city because you can have various options for the dishes you want to try. The diversity in tastes makes Nairobi be a top destination to explore the food culture. Online orders in the restaurants there is a common experience.

- Swakopmund, Namibia
I recently read Arundhuti’s book Walking with the Comrades. What I found that She is the keen reader and inspired by the western literature and tone of writing. But she has its own accent in writing I found. That gave me a unique taste of reading. The same thing is with Namibia, It is a country in southwest Africa is distinguished by the Namib Desert along its Atlantic Ocean coast. It has a long history of German colonization which has its footprints like the Christuskirche in Namibia’s capital.Namibia’s cuisine is also filled with indigenous influences or perhaps highlight its colonial roots to Europe specifically Germany. Both types of food were served I found being in the coastal city Swakopmund. WILD GAME Steaks, KAPANA & FAT CAKES, and Biltong are the dishes you must try being in Namibia.
