Born on the 14th of September, 1958, Patience Ozokwor, popularly known as Mama G is a Nigerian actress, fashion designer, musician and songwriter.She has featured in over 100 movies and was among the 100 Nigerians honored by the government to celebrate the amalgamation of the northern and southern protectorates in the year 2014.
Patience was born in the village of Amaobo, Ngwo, Enugu State, Nigeria. She attended the Amimbola Gibson Memorial School in Lagos and has always had passions for acting from her primary school days, where she was already taking acting roles.
She later attended the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, from where she obtained a degree in fine and applied arts.
Before Patience started acting as an actress, she was already taking parts in radio dramas and a soap opera by the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) titled 'Someone Cares'.
Patience Ozokwor got married at the age of 19 and has three biological children and five adopted ones, all bearing her name.
She sadly lost her husband in 2000 and didn't remarry.
