His parents were Ghanaian immigrants who settled in the UK in the ’70s, so he was born in Hackney, East London, was raised there for a bit and then they moved up north to a place called Stevenage in Hertfordshire. His dad got a job, moved back to Ghana, so he did his junior high and secondary school there. It was during that period he started having his musical inspirations. His dad was a big musichead, and all his brothers as well. Jazz, highlife, reggae were the kind of things he enjoyed listening when he was young.

JULS Biography

In 2012 he did a song called “Feel Alright” with a group based in Nigeria called Show Dem Camp, which had a very high life sound. That was when he had his break came, he was well known in Ghana, Nigeria and UK alike. He then connected with Mr Eazi at the time, in 2013, he was doing the music thing but he wasn’t taking it as serious.
He listened to some of his mixtapes called About To Blow, and decided to remake ‘Bankulize. It was a massive hit! That was what brought Mr Eazi to the limelight. They duo would go on to make two more massive hits called  "Skintight” and “Hollup.” Since then, Eazi and Juls have collaborated on a number of hits that have helped propel Eazi to legitimate stardom.
