According to a report from AutoReportNG, the Director-General of National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) earlier commended the institution for the achievement. The council commended UNN after the automobile was unveiled and test-run on the 9th of July,2019.
They further urged other higher institutions in the country to emulate the innovative spirit of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
