Court Nullifies Creation Of New Emirates In Kano

A High Court sitting in Kano State, on Thursday, 21st of November nullified the four newly created Emirate Council, created by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
In his judgement, Justice Usman Na ’abba, said the creation of the Emirates and appointment of four Emirs is illegal.
Sources close to the State Government circles however told media correspondents moments after the ruling that the State Government, will appeal the ruling.
