A few hours ago, the news of the death of Ibidun Ighodalo, an ex-Nigerian beauty queen and wife of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo of the Trinity Church was made public. According to the information which was made known to our correspondent, she was aged 40 as at the time of her death.

While the cause of the ex-beauty queen isn't yet known, we would like to point out some interesting facts about her that you might not have known.

• Ibidun Ighodalo won the Miss Lux title over a decade ago as an 18-year-old undergraduate of the University of Lagos.
• Ibidun Ighodalo was born on the 19th of July, 1980. She was to celebrate her 40th birthday on Sunday, July 19.
• On February 16, 2007, she got married to Pastor Ituah Ighodalo of the Trinity Church House.
• Ibidun and Pastor Ituah have two children together. She once revealed her infertility challenge and the several IVF procedures she did during her lifetime.
• Ibidun Ighodalo is the founder of the Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation. She revealed that she went through IVF on 11 occasions before deciding to adopt her daughter Keke. The social pressure that accompanied her fertility journey; and her quest to find happiness, all of which she said birthed her foundation.
• She is the founder of Elizabeth R., a leading event management company in Nigeria. She established the company in 2003. During Fashola’s tenure in 2007, Elizabeth R. was given the arduous task of beautifying Lagos.
