• Oyibo Rebel (real name Faris Boulos) was born on the 2nd of January, 1991 in Houston, Texas. So it is good to say that he is also an American citizen.
• He was born to a business-oriented Lebanese-French family but moved to Nigeria at the age of five.  Coincidentally, Faris is a also fourth-generation African - his grandmother was born in Ivory Coast and his mom (a Lebanese) was born in Burkina Faso.
• At the age of 16, Faris left Nigeria for the United States after completing his secondary education to pursue a degree in Liberal Arts. 
• After graduating from the University, Oyibo Rebel moved to London for his Masters to become an actor. As an actor, he got featured in 'Fantastic Beasts II'.
• He cites Fela Anikulapo-Kuti as his role model. According to the 'Oju Mi Bloody' coroner, he would always go to the shrine all the time just to catch the vibe and see Femi Kuti (Fela's son) perform.

Oyibo Rebel has released two hit songs, 'Rosa' (ft. Skales) and 'Oju Mi Bloody' (ft. Chinko Ekun and Mz Kiss). As at the time of writing this article, 'Rosa' has gotten more than 85,000 views on YouTube while 'Oju Mi Bloody' was in 74,000 views.
