Doris Simeon was born on the 22nd of July, 1977 in Lagos State, Nigeria. She grew up in Ojota area of Lagos with her family. After completing her primary and secondary education, Doris gained admission to study production management at the PEFT Institute.

Doris Simeon's first step into the entertainment industry was when she starred in the Papa Ajasco comedy series. In 2001, she got a role in the Nollywood movie titled, 'Oloju Ede', a move that helped shoot her into the limelight.
