Due to financial difficulties, she experienced difficulties while growing up but still worked hard to make her family proud. She had her primary education at Ibadan, before getting admission to study at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in English Language.
Career
Funke Adejumo is happily to Bishop Felix ‘Remi Adejumo, the Founder and Senior Pastor of The Agape Christian Ministries Worldwide. The couple initially wanted to settle down in Ibadan after their marriage, but her husband got God's call to into the ministry.After some time, they began a fellowship centre in their living room with just four members. With time, their number increased and they had to change location. On August 1988, they opened the first parish at Victory Nursery School, Akure, the capital of Ondo State.
Agape Christian Ministries Worldwide has over the years, grown into becoming one of the biggest churches in Nigeria, with over 35 branches in different states.
Apart from the Christain ministry, Funke together with her husband are also philanthropists who have empowered many people financially. She is the president of Funke Felix Adejumo Foundation (FFAF), a non-governmental organisation that empowers women and disadvantaged children.

Rev. Funke Adejumo is happily married to Bishop Felix ‘Remi Adejumo. The duo met in 1982 at Ibadan and wedded two years after. The marriage is blessed with four biological children, grandchildren and adopted children.Awards And Recognition
