Chika Ike was born on the 8th of November 1985 in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria. Growing up wasn't rosy for the talented actress as her Dad initially rejected her because of her gender. According to Chika, all the challenges in her life she has faced, all the hardships she has survived were because of her desire to prove that she was worth something. Her family, rejecting her when she was still very young helped mould her into the successful actress and entrepreneur that she is today.

After completing her primary and secondary education, Chika Ike proceeded to the University of Lagos (UniLag) for a 2-year diploma program in human kinetics and health education. She also obtained a degree in human kinetics and health education from the same institution before proceeding to the prestigious Harvard Business School where she was taught the rudiments of entrepreneurship.

She didn't just stop there but also proceeded to New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, California where she studied film-making, graduating in 2014.

Chika Ike is no doubt, one of the most talented Nollywood actresses. She began acting in a church play at a very early age of 5. She began her modelling career at the age of 16, just shortly after graduating from secondary school.

She began her professional acting career in 2005 when she played a minor character in the movie 'Sweet Love'. The same year, got her first lead role in a movie titled; 'Bless the Child'.

She has since then, featured in over 100 Nigerian movies, including; 'Mirror of Beauty', 'Girls Got Reloaded', 'Paradise', 'To Love a Stranger', 'Yes We Will', 'Happy Ending', 'The Prince and the Princess' and 'Anointed Queen'.
