Adam A Zango was born on the 1st of August, 1985 to the family of Mallam Abdullahi and Hajiya Yelwa Abdullahi in Zango local government in Kaduna State, Nigeria. He grew up in Zango Kataf Town in Kaduna State.
He had his primary education at Zango Primary School but his family had to relocate to Jos as a result of the crisis that broke up in Kaduna between Hausa people and some tribes in Zango Kataf. After his relocation, he furthered his secondary education at Government Secondary School Laranto Jos. He also holds a degree from the Iheris University in Togo.
Career
Adam Zango's musical career dates back to his secondary school days at Government Secondary School, during lead days/social club events. He however professionally started his entertainment career as a DJ with Lenscope media Jos, after which he began showing up in screens as an actor.
He debuted as an actor in a Hausa movie titled 'Surfani', but the films that brought him to limelight include the likes of 'Kallabi', 'Zabari', 'Raga' and 'Kawanya'.
Adamu Zango recognises Ali Nuhu as his teacher and mentor. In a recent interview, he revealed that Nuhu showed him how to take love roles. According to the actor who doubles as a singer, there were times when Ali Nuhu sat him down and instructed him how to act in love role.
Adamu Zango normally acts alongside Nafisa Abdullahi in Kannywood love roles. The love roles reportedly turned into reality, as the duo were regularly spotted with each other, though they later parted ways after an incidence.
In 2007, Adam A. Zango was remanded in prison for violating the censorship Board's law for the release of his music video album Bahaushiya.
