Adamu Garba was born on the 6 June 1982 at Luggere ward, Jimeta, Yola-North Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Nigeria to the family of Adamu Jauro and Hadiza Garba. His parents were Islamic scholars. His father was a chief while his mother was a petty trader. Growing up in a rural town, chores like fetching of firewood and fishing were the daily routines for Garba.Adamu Garba II schooled at Almajiri school until he became 8 when he switched to Jambutu Primary School for his elementary education. After a while, he changed to Luggere primary school, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. He further enrolled at Doubeli Secondary School for his secondary education, finishing in 2001.
Garba II immediately secured admission to study at Electrical Engineering at the Kano State University of Technology. During his third year at the institution, he got rusticated after a riot broke out and his education ended abruptly. Not giving up, he enrolled at the NIIT Kano for the continuation of his education. He studied Microsoft Systems and technology, attaining its MSCE certification.

Adamu Garba II is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IPI Solutions Nigeria Limited, a cloud computing company, headquartered in Lagos. He started his professional career at the age of 24, when he moved to Lagos State. After working in varying industries ranging from IT to oil and gas, he decided to set up his own IT firm based on the certification he had already acquired.In 2018, he declared his intentions to run for President of Nigeria under the All Progressives Congress (APC). He had nursed the ambition to become president since 2003 and has read many books and studied many policies of state crafts to acquire more knowledge on how best to liberate the country. He was relatively unknown until he announced his aspiration citing the need for youths to take over the realm of leadership and for the old politicians to retire as one of the reasons for him stepping up.
In October 2020, he instituted a $1 billion lawsuit against Twitter and its founder, Jack Dorsey, at the Federal High Court Abuja, over his role in the #EndSARS protests which has led to violence across the country, resulting in the destruction of properties and loss of lives.
