Born on the 7th of May in the early 1990s as the 3rd child into a family of seven, Bukunmi Oluwashina discovered her acting talents at a very early age. The fast-rising actress is a native of Oke-Imesi in Ekiti State, Nigeria.
After completing her primary and secondary education, she gained admission into the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, graduating with a degree in Dramatic Arts. (some sources claim she studied Theatre Arts)
Oluwasina started writing movies at a very early age, while still in secondary school. Then, she had some issues writing the scripts because of her school projects, but she kept honing her skills. She came into limelight after writing and producing the award-winning movie 'Ayomi'.
'Ayomi' was directed by Muyedeen Oladapo and featured renowned musicians in the Nollywood such as the likes of Joke Silva, Gabriel Afolayan, Muyiwa Ademola and Damola Olatunji. The movie, which was released in September 2015 happens to be the only indigenous movie to display in Viva Cinema for its premiering then. It also earned Oluwasina a partnership with Pepsi.
