Dolapo Badmos was born on the 4th of August, 1977 in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State. She is the second child in a family of six children. Her late Dad once served as a Local Government Chairman and a member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly while her mother is a retired teacher.
After completing he primary and secondary education, Badmos proceeded to the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti where she obtained a degree in Accounting. She also holds a post-graduate degree in Public Administration.
Career
In August 2002, Dolapo Badmos joined the Nigerian police force as an Assistant Superintendent of Police after being influenced by her uncle. She underwent intensive training at the Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State.
Badmos was once Aide de Camp, (ADC) to the number four citizen of Nigeria. She has also served as the divisional police officer (DPO), Isokoko Division, Agege, Lagos State. She was appointed as the Lagos State police command Public Relation Officer PRO in January 2016. In 2019, she was elevated to the position of provost.
On 17th October 2020, news broke out that Dolapo Badmos had been demoted alongside Abayomi Shogunle and 37 officers (some were dismissed). She, however, dismissed the news, describing it as fake.
Personal Life
Dolapo Badmos got married to her husband, Abubakar on the 1st of December, 2017. The couple welcomed their first daughter in December 2019.
