Lazarus Muoka Biography and Career
Pastor Lazarus Muoka was born in Mgbidi, the headquarters of Oru West Local Government Area but he originally hails from Umuhu Okabia, Orsu L.G.A. Being born into a Catholic family, he sought the Lord, he wasn't introduced to the pentecostal method of preaching until later in his life.He had his early primary and secondary education before moving to Lagos in 1975, where he started working under a company that dealt on motor parts. With time, Lazurus set up his own business of importing motor parts, with an office in Lagos State, Nigeria.
He became born again after hearing a preacher preach the message of salvation in a bus. In his search for a place where the true message of salvation is being preached, he found himself in the same church where the preacher worshipped and it marked another phase of his life.
He continued preaching the Word of God and sharing the testimony of his salvation and with time, he was made a pastor in the church. It was while serving as a pastor in the Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement that he got a call from God to establish the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries.
Pastor Lazarus Muoka started the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries in 2002 and it has over the years, grown into becoming one of the biggest Pentecostal churches in Nigeria.
In an interview with the thechosenpress, the popular cleric revealed that he met some frictions in his quest to leave his former church, but conquered because it was God's will. Quoting him; 'Leaving my former church was not easy for me. The General Overseer did not want me to leave but because it was God’s will that I should go and accomplish some missions, I had no option than to leave. Actually, the General Overseer and many church members were not happy. But today...'.

Pastor Lazarus Muoka is happily married to Pastor (Mrs) Joy Muoka and the marriage is blessed with children. His first son, Joshua Muoka got married to his wife Ifunanya Favour Muoka on the 26th of January, 2019. A few months after that, his first daughter Ruth Ifunanya Muoka walked down the aisle with her handsome heartthrob, Bro Lucky Oha.
