Blogging: Top 10 Free Traffic Sources For Your Blog/Website

Top 10 Free Traffic Sources For Your Blog
Our main issues to tackle as bloggers and webmasters is traffic. Without it, we cannot be able to generate the expected revenues from our sites, so it is very necessary.
I have written about 10 ways through which we can get free traffic, but remember that free traffic can fail anytime, so you invest in your traffic as you generate more money from your blog.

- Yahoo Answer

Yahoo's forum, you just need a Yahoo account to sign up by clicking here. Before I could complete my sign up process, they forced me to install their chrome extension which changed my home page...Lol😆! If it was another site, I would have ran away before I install a thousand dollar virus.
You just sign up and get points by answering questions. You can refer people to your blog to get the traffic.

- Wikipedia

This is also a great traffic source. You just chip in your links to posts either by editing or creating new ones. If they are not quality, another user can remove it though. The links are no-follow but can generate you quality traffic.

- Twitter

I already taught you how you can get quality traffic from Twitter even with 10 followers. If you can get many followers on Twitter, it would be a great advantage to your site. Just know what your audience love to hear about and always give it to them.

- Facebook

Who doesn't know about Facebook? Even our parents are online here. You can create Facebook groups and pages, increase followers, and use them to generate traffic for your blog. Even your timeline is a great traffic source however Facebook put limits on that.

- Reddit

Being one of the best forums in the world, it can help generate traffic for your site by constantly sharing your posts there.
NOTE: You can only post in Reddit if your account is older than 24 hours and they also control the number of posts you can submit. That's to make the site to be less congested.
But after 24 hours of your account going life, just go to click here if you want to submit your post link or click here to submit a post.

Google+

Google Plus is a widely loved traffic source. With millions of daily users, it would help generate much views to your site, especially if you have grown a large followers' base there.

- Google

Who doesn't like free things? If you can optimize your site to appear in search engine queries, you can be getting a lot of traffic from them. However it's not that easy as there are so many things involved in their rankings. You have to have a good domain authority, MOZ rank, page authority, back links and so many other things.

- Blog Commenting

Dropping relevant comments on other people's blogs can help your own get noticed. However, we all hate spams and so should avoid spamming others. It will not only annoy the site owners, but will portray you as a traffic hungry and desperate individual, bring down the quality of your blog and chase away potential visitors.

- Forums

Posting in forums like Nairaland can help you come up the top of the search engine. Yea, you direct visitors from Google to Nairaland and then to your blog since Nairaland already has a ground in Google search results. You just need to optimize it with rich and non-competitive keywords.
Apart from this, you can also get traffic by ordinarily posting on the forum.

- Guest Blogging

Dropping guest posts on quality blogs like Info Guide Africa can fetch you blog visitors and also quality back links. You just need to write quality posts and sub,it to us, we'd publish them and credit you.

- eBay

Post about a cheap product and put your blog as the description url. You'd generate views to your site as people love free gifts so much.
