How To Write A Good Search Engine Optimized Blog Post
Search engine is the major source of  traffic for many high traffic blogs today and this is because people search for millions of topics on daily basis.

Search engines like Google and Bing are the biggest in the world with over a billion searches per day. How can you tap a small percentage of this large audience to your blog? Well, it is very easy. All you have to do is to submit your blog to any of these search engines and then, you optimize your blog so that the search engine finds your blog relevant and gives you a very good ranking. This is what we call Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
SEO is classified into two parts:

a. The On page SEO
b. The Off Page SEO.

Off-Page SEO: This is the optimization which you do outside your blog and it is simply the building of links pointing to your blog/site from other blogs/sites.
ON-Page SEO: This optimization takes place on your Blog. It has to do with your blog template(Loading speed, user friendliness, etc.), traffic sources, and content quality.

We are going to talk about a part of the on-page SEO which is writing a High Quality Search Engine Optimized blog post because this can increase your search ranking and so, you will have an increase in search engine traffic to your blog.

Here are the simple guidelines on how to write a good Search Engine Optimized blog post:
1. Come Out With Your Topic:
If you read about SEO, you know that you should find your keywords first. But looking for your keywords without having a topic in mind, is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Think about a topic your customers might like, a topic you think is important for you or something that worked for your competition. It doesn’t matter if you chose a topic someone already wrote about, as long as you stay original.
Let’s say, we’re going to write a post about leadership mistakes, We can write the topic as “5 Worst Leadership Mistakes.”

2. Come Out With You Post Keywords:
Let’s check keyword search volume first. You can check it via the Keyword Planner which is free, but you can also purchase an advanced app (I use Semrush).

3. Keyword Density: You shouldn’t use your keyword more than 5 times per 1000 words. Usually, some words will  repeat more than that, but when your main keyword is in the title, the meta description, every heading and 100 times throughout the content, Google will see it as keyword stuffing.

4. Use Headings:
Headings structure the entire page, so you should use headings. They’re important for readability, but for SEO as well. Headings help Google to grasp the main topics of a long post and therefore can help in your ranking. If you want people to find their way in your articles, you should use subheadings. Subheadings will lead people, help them scan your page, and clarify the structure of your articles.
Make sure you use your keywords in some subheadings. Not in each and everyone of them though, as it will make the text unreadable.

5. Break Up The Text:
Break up your writing into paragraphs. Don’t let everything run together. Use headers for the paragraph and sub-headers or bullet points to further divide the text.
Another way to break up the text is to explain to readers how the post is structured. Tell them “first I will explain this, and then I will show data on X, Y, and Z, and finally, I will ask for your input.

6. Interlink And Anchor Text When Writing A New Post
It’s always a good idea to  link back to old blog posts  so that readers will stick around your site for longer and also so that search engines can re-crawl these old posts. This helps in better navigability of your site which reduces the bounce rate- another important SEO factor. When you interlink, you should use the  anchor text technique .Simply put, when you link to a blog post, you see an option to add a link and a title. Make sure to fill out the post title with the main keywords for the post that you are linking to.

7. Comment On Other Blogs And Forums: Yes, it's very essential. But you shouldn't spam other people's blogs. Put links in your signature in active forums and be active. This will make people notice your site more often.
You can post on forums with the code below:

Read More: KEYWORD HERE
This will appear this way: Read More: KEYWORD HERE
Actually the  is to make it bold so you can remove it if you wish.

Final Words:
I will urge you to be natural when it comes to writing and please put your page visitors into consideration.
Never Stuff your keywords because this can cause serious harm to your blog when Google finds out.

And most importantly, If you want to rank your blog post, you will need to build backlinks to your blog posts because Google uses this to rank the relevance of a blog post.
