Born on the 11th of January, 1984, Ikechukwu Ogbonna is the second child in a family of four children. He has three other siblings, a male and two females and they were born in Abia State, Nigeria.He had his secondary school education in Lagos State and tertiary education at the University of Jos, Plateau State from where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
He joined Nolywood after his university education and with time, rose to become one of the biggest Nollywood actors.
His first appearance in a movie was 'Lovelom', produced by Rukky Sanda in 2013 and he has also won several awards for himself.
Also being a model, IK Ogbonna is an ambassador for Dorco Shaving Stick.
He is popularly known for his role in the movie 'Playing Safe' together with Tonto Dikeh and Ini Edo. He was also featured in 'Disguise', 'The Washerman' and 'Pebbles of Love'.
