Born on the 1st of March, 1994 at the St Joseph's Hospital, London, Ontario, Canada, Justin was raised in Stratford, Ontario.He is the only child of his parents, Jeremy Jack Bieber & Patricia Pattie Mallette who were never married. Mallette was still underage when she gave birth to Justin, and her mother, Diane and stepfather, Bruce helped in raising him.
His mother is of French-Canadian descent; his paternal great-grandfather was of German ancestry, and his other roots are English, Scottish and Irish and he has also claimed that he has some undetermined Aboriginal Canadian ancestry.
Through Jeremy, Bieber has three younger half-siblings.
