Born on the 25th of May, 1985 in Pensacola, Florida, United States of America, Leati Joseph Anoa better known as Roman Reigns is a professional wrestler for the World Wrestling Entertainment.
He is one of the biggest in the industry and has a good number of awards and endorsements. 
Anoaʻi is half-Samoan and half-Italian. His father, Sika and brother, Rosey who died on the 17th of April, 2017 were professional wrestlers. He is also a cousin to former professional wrestlers Rikishi, Yokozuna, Umaga, who died on December 4, 2009, The Tonga Kid and first cousin once-removed to The Usos and The Rock (non-biological).

Roman Reigns got married to Galina Joelle Becker, December 2014 and they have a daughter together, Joelle. His wife also gave birth to twin boys in 2016.
Anoa'i majored in Management at the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a Roman Catholic. He always uses the sign of the cross whenever he enters the ring. According to him, Bret Hart is his wrestling idol.
Before joining the wrestling industry, Anoaʻi had played football for three years at Pensacola Catholic High School and one year at Escambia High School. He was named Defensive Player of the Year by the Pensacola News Journal in his senior year.

He was later diagnosed with leukemia in the year 2007 and had to pause his career. Anoaʻi signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in the year 2010 and was later assigned to their developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). January 2012, Leakee pinned FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion Leo Kruger and on the February 5 episode of FCW television, he also defeated Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in a triple threat match to become the number one contender to the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship.
Roman Reigns made his main roster television debut as on November 18, 2012 at Survivor Series alongside Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, assaulting Ryback during the triple threat main event for the WWE Championship, allowing CM Punk to retain the title.
