Google Maps Launches New Audio Navigation Feature For Visually Impaired People
Top tech giant, Google never fail to impress us with their new features and updates on a regular basis.
They recently added a new feature to both the Google Maps Android and iOS apps, which will aid visually impaired people navigate freely without facing any intricacy.
The feature will help minimise the inconveniences faced by the blind people while travelling from one place to another, and it was announced on the World Sight Day to support the victims of visual impairments.

It'll also be helpful to people who can see, especially when travelling to a place you've never been to.

The verbose feature shares all the required information for the users which includes, the location of a particular place, the distance the blog post, Wakana said, 
“I hope this new technology will give more people added confidence when navigating unfamiliar routes-after all, building for everyone is core to our work at Google”.
The feature is presently available to only US and Japanese users, but we're hoping it'll reach more regions of the world soon.
