Esther Audu was born on the 22nd of March, 1982 in Ikeja, Lagos State into the family of Mr. James Audu. Her father is a retired Military officer and had five other children apart from Esther.Esther spent her early life at Ikeja, where her Ikeja military Cantonment where her father lived due to the nature of his job. They were originally from Olamaboro of Kogi State.
Esther started her early primary and junior secondary education in Lagos State, until 2002 when her family left Lagos for Abuja. She completed her secondary education at Abuja.
In 2006, she secured admission to study Business Management at the University of Jos, graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management.

Esther Audu had always had a dream of becoming a newscaster.
